We are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new initiative at the KRS Hub – an inclusive SEND After-School Club designed specifically for students with special educational needs and disabilities. Starting this term, every Wednesday, the KRS Hub transforms into a vibrant community space where SEND students can engage in a variety of sporting activities, dive into the world of art, and enjoy fun, social interactions in a safe and welcoming environment.

A Place Where Differences Are Celebrated

At the heart of our new after-school club is the belief that every child, regardless of their abilities, should have the opportunity to participate, learn, and grow in a setting that understands and supports their unique needs. The KRS Hub aims to be that place – a sanctuary where differences are not just accommodated but celebrated.

Sporting Fun with Like-Minded Friends

Sport has the incredible power to unite, inspire, and promote physical wellbeing. Our after-school club offers a range of adapted sports activities designed to ensure that every child can participate, regardless of their physical abilities. From team sports that encourage collaboration and communication to individual challenges that build confidence and resilience, there’s something for every young athlete.

Art Activities: Unleash Your Creativity

Beyond the physical, we recognise the importance of creative expression. Our club provides a plethora of art activities that allow students to explore their imaginations, express their emotions, and develop a range of artistic skills. In a world that can often feel structured and rigid, these art sessions offer a breath of fresh air, enabling students to create without boundaries.

A Social Space to Thrive

More than just activities, the KRS Hub’s after-school club is a social platform. It’s a place where students can meet others who share similar experiences and challenges. It’s a space where friendships are formed, where students can support and understand each other in a way that’s rare and precious. In fostering these connections, we hope to build a community that extends beyond the walls of the KRS Hub, supporting our students in every aspect of their lives.

Safety and Support at Its Core

We understand the importance of a safe and supportive environment. Our staff are not only passionate about their work but are also trained to meet the specific needs of SEND students. From the moment our members walk in, to the moment they leave, we are committed to ensuring they feel secure, respected, and valued.
