Level 1–2 Functional Skills English

Build confidence in reading, writing, and speaking & listening with supportive, step-by-step teaching. Perfect for learners who want to improve everyday English and work towards Functional Skills.

Note: Exam entry is separate (£30).What you’ll cover overview:

  • Reading: finding key information, main ideas, sequencing, making simple inferences, comparing texts, exam-style practice
  • Writing: clear sentences, simple paragraphs, punctuation, forms/emails/letters, planning ideas, editing and improving, timed writing practice
  • Speaking & Listening: turn-taking, asking questions, active listening, giving opinions, discussions, short presentations, assessment practice
