Sports Coach (Part-Time) – Primary Schools (S20 & surrounding areas)
Hours: 5–10 hours per week (term-time only). Extra hours available in school holidays

Pay: £12–£16 per hour (depending on experience)

Role overview
KRS is a family-run business committed to delivering high-quality sport sessions for children and young people aged 4–16. We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Sports Coach to support delivery of primary school sport, lunchtime activities and after-school clubs. You’ll help create a safe, engaging and positive environment for pupils aged 4–11 across a range of local primary school settings.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, sport-based games and structured activities during lunchtime and/or after-school clubs
- Encourage participation, teamwork and positive play
- Ensure sessions follow school policies, safety guidance and risk assessments
- Manage behaviour in line with school expectations
- Provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all pupils
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
Person specification
Essential:
- Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
- Confident managing groups of children
- Energetic, proactive and able to build positive relationships
- Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- Enhanced DBS (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
Desirable:
- Experience in schools, sports coaching, youth work or similar settings
- Relevant coaching qualifications (or currently studying towards them)
