What subjects can involve active learning?
Virtually any subject! Active learning can be utilized in all subjects but the primary focus at KRS is the core subjects of maths, English and science to add a different element of teaching and learning to them.
Q: Does active learning have any benefit to a child’s understanding?
A: Of course! In some cases, children prefer active learning more than normal classroom learning as doing an activity to remember a topic can be remembered easier than just words on a screen to copy down.
Q: What if a child does not like active learning?
A: Not a problem! If a child has never done active learning before we will always try to get them to have a go and see if they find it easier or harder. If then the child is not a fan of this learning method, we always seek other alternatives to help them.
